History

The Herghelia Mission School was opened in 1999 as an educational project of Herghelia Lifestyle Center, which was founded in 1996 by Nick and Valentina Dan. Being located in a beautiful Romanian village near Târgu Mureș, Herghelia Mission School is the place where many young people discovered God through nature and missionary activities. Since 1999 until now, more than 300 students graduated from Herghelia Mission School. Students from Europe, the USA, Canada, South-America and Asia are prepared to work in different departments of the church, in sanitariums or in the field of mission.

Purpose

Having in mind God’s vision on education, Herghelia Mission School offers the students the opportunity to develop their character following the Bible and Spirit of Prophecy guidelines. All activities (classes, practical work and missionary projects) help the students to obtain practical and theoretical skills in order to be efficient workers in self-supporting ministry. The final purpose of all activities is to prepare these missionary workers to be equipped to support the spreading of the Gospel in its various forms.

Programs

Pastors, physicians, missionaries and teachers teach classes and they hail from Romania and abroad. Our teachers are all people who have significant experience in missionary work. Courses are taught in English or Romanian with translation. They are useful to those of any geographic or cultural context who are motivated by the desire to preach the Gospel to the ends of the earth. The program combines practical work with study. The study year is divided in 2 modules as follows:
