Ministry Spotlight: Frontline Messenger

Frontline Messenger is an Adventist ministry based in France, which focuses on doing missionary work in Asian countries such as Cambodia, Vietnam and Mongolia. It was established in 2015 and has grown every year since then by God’s grace. From visiting the local Seventh-Day Adventist churches in Asia, Frontline Messengers quickly realized that they needed support in multiple ways. Many of the members did not have a bible, and the churches did not evangelize outside their own local membership due to a lack of resources and training. Therefore, Frontline Messenger has worked and prayed tirelessly in order to provide necessities for these people. So far, the ministry has distributed over 1000 bibles in Asia and coordinated the translation of Christian literature to the local languages.

Additionally, Frontline Messenger also seeks to provide for the physical necessities of the people by installing wells in poor villages. The ministry is always open to opportunities for collaborating with local Adventist churches and institutions, working alongside them to organise bible studies, conferences and seminars for the church members as well as for people from outside the church. The missionaries in Cambodia are working on the plan for this year’s church activities, and they are continuing their search for local church members who would be interested in working full time on the mission with them. Frontline Messenger’s work structure, with which they have had great success so far, thanks to God, is quite particular: its missionaries (also called mission leaders) hire six local church members as full time missionaries. This allows them to reach a lot more people, as the contact with the local community can happen in their own language, and the local church members get engaged and educated in evangelistic activities.

Frontline Messengers hopes to get more mission leaders this year. There are currently only two leaders in deployment, and the need for missionaries in the field is much greater than what they can cover. Therefore, Frontline Messenger will be conducting a missionary school this summer, from the 1st to the 31st of August, 2020, in the Vosges region in France. It is their hope and prayer that the Lord will provide the labourers needed for the harvest (Matt. 9,37.38). The participants will be thoroughly educated and prepared for the missionary work. The courses are divided into two parts (I and II) and include courses in humanitarian activity, spirituality, how to be a missionary and much more. There will also be an excursion to a “secret” place in Europe as part of the programme!

The classes will be held in both English and French, so any English or French speaking members of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church are encouraged to attend and embrace the opportunity to work as missionaries with Frontline Messenger, in Europe and beyond, after the training. There is room for 21 students, and, at a cost of only €900 per student, attendees will be provided with tuition, as well as accommodation and food (plant-based menu). If you, or someone you know, are interested and would like further information on the course, please do not hesitate to contact

You can also visit their website or follow them on Facebook and Instagram. Frontline Messengers look forward to hearing from you.
